Works hard every day to provide for our needs

Points to words in books as we sit together and read

Chases away monsters in our closet and under our beds

Makes sure my tummy is always fed

Whips our butts when we are bad

And gives us hugs when we are sad

Teaches us to throw a ball

Picks us up whenever we fall

Cuts our hair when it grows wild

Makes sure we always have style

Shows us how to be a man

Always tries to understand

Unconditional love is what we get

Without Daddy’s hands’ we wouldn’t make it!
