Tried a new chicken recipe today - Garlic Lemon chicken. Isn't it pretty? Fonzy and the boys weren't too thrilled with it, even though they ate it. I think if I had spiced it a little more they would have liked it. Oh well...the chicken looked good in the pictures. As good as a raw chicken can look.

After church today we went to a little place called Mr.Wonderful's Chicken and Waffles. We'd heard it was good, so wanted to check it out. The restaurant wasn't very big, but the atmosphere was nice. The chicken and waffles...so good! The chicken was the best I've had. Even though it was fried, it wasn't greasy at all. And the seasoning...I wish I knew what they used. It was seasoned perfectly! Mr. Wonderful's was wonderful like the sign says and I would definitely go again!

Of all the things I knit, my favorite are dolls. From my very first one, to this one, I fall in love with each one. I think my love of knitted dolls also comes from my Mom knitting dolls for all her nieces. I often wonder if she loved making them too. One of my cousins still has the doll my mom made over 25yrs ago! I hope the dolls I've knit and given are loved and cherished just as much.
I'm currently working on her dress and haven't decided how I want her hair just yet.

I felt like baking a pie today.
I need a new apple pie recipe. This one is simple, and I want something more. This one looks delish!

Well, the weatherman got it right this time!
The snow started around noon, and quickly covered everything in white. Just like a kid, I couldn't wait to go outside. Our neighborhood was so quiet. Everyone was nestled away inside, but the snow was beckoning me. To enjoy it's winter beauty, the hush of the neighborhood, the swirl of flakes. It was magical. And I enjoyed every minute of it.
